Spock's Beard – The Archaeoptimist

On “The Archaeoptimist,” Spock’s Beard’s debut album for Madfish, Ryo Okumoto collaborates with co-writer Michael Whiteman (I Am the Manic Whale) and longtime band members Alan Morse and Ted Leonard to craft an album that is both fresh and undeniably Spock’s Beard.

The album was produced by Ryo Okumoto and recorded at each band member's studio. Rich Mouser (Dream Theater/Weezer) handled the mixing and mastering.
