A new episode of the Prog Rock Italia series, featuring Saint Just's debut album, the eponymous work. An album of rare intensity, a small and original masterpiece that has all the makings of a truly important and authentic work of Italian prog: a captivating 35 minutes that envelops the listener in a disconcerting and dreamlike musical journey. The band released the album in 1973 on the Harvest label, and their formula was an immediate success with critics: the trio's distinctive sound was especially praised for its simultaneous evocation of classical and contemporary music, avant-garde and 18th-century Neapolitan tradition. This album features contributions from Alan Sorrenti, who also handled the album's mixing after recording, and great musicians such as percussionist Toni Esposito, guitarist Gianni Guarracino, and pianist Mario D'Amora.
